Windy Hunting Services - Eastern Long Island seaduck & goose shooting

Windy Hunting Service offers a wide variety of hunts. Whether you want to hunt geese and puddlers in one of our pits or blinds, sea ducks from one of our duck boats or even the most exciting form of shooting from the layout boats, we offer it all in comfort and safety. I have been a licensed USCG captain, fishing and guiding full time for a living for 40 years here on the south fork of Long Island. We are based and live in Montauk, New York at the eastern tip of Long Island, a short drive to one of our fields where twenty-five to thirty thousand canada geese winter or only minutes away by boat from the most incredible sea duck hunting on the east coast. Every winter the mussel beds of ocean, sound and bays of the east end become alive with over 100,000 scoters, eiders and old squaw. This affords us some unbelievable shooting. Because of our equipment and the geography of Long Island we can get you out sea ducking in all but the most severe of storms and on those days we can always fall back to one of our fields or blinds. We are never at a loss for a place to hunt.

During October and November, we can offer Cast & Blast. A morning of sea duck hunting and an afternoon of striped bass fishing. All of our hunts can be combined with another sea ducking, goose or diver duck hunting. What ever works for you works for us.
